"Unknown offenders have thrown a brick to gain access through a rear door of an address on Brisbane Street," she said. Sergeant Reeve said the offenders took a set of keys and left in the victim's vehicle, which police later found parked on the footpath in Eaglesfield Street.
Officers said as they approached the vehicle they saw a man jump from the passenger side and run into the Beaudesert State High School grounds where police were unable to locate him. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to get in touch via Beaudesert Police Station or Police Link on 131 444.
Traffic violations
Beaudesert police have increased traffic patrols during the school holidays.
Sergeant Reeve said an operation on Wednesday, June 22 saw local police and highway patrol officers conduct 138 RBTs and issued a significant number of infringement notices. "We are reminding all road users that a safer drive is in their hands and we make no apology in holding dangerous drivers to account," she said.
