Beaudesert falls 30 runs short of first-innings victory against Jimboomba in cricket action at Glenlogan Park

Jimboomba took first-innings points against Beaudesert on the second day's play on Saturday.

Beaudesert fell 30 runs short of Jimboomba's 227 at Glenlogan Park.

Keegan O'Donnell scored 49, and Myles Garner made 56.

The Bushrangers went back in to bat, and were 6-166 when the skippers shook hands.

Jeffrey Teese bagged three wickets for Beauy, while Campbell Stewart took two.

Division 2 had a hard day against Springwood Suns.

Bowling first, Beaudesert were taken to task on a quick scoring pitch by Springwood's batsmen as they made 5-231.

In response, Beaudesert never got started, and crumbled to be all out for 98.

Beaudesert 1 played at Larrescy Oval on Saturday against Beenleigh Pirates.

Beaudesert made 3-89, with Hayden Steindhart scoring an unbeaten 15. Patrick O'Leary made 9, Tyler Gooch 7 no and Finn Stewart 6 not out. Beenleigh made 5-106.

Meanwhile Beaudesert juniors Archie Foster and Declan O'Donnell played for SEQ Under 12's in a trial match on Saturday.

Foster was called into the team after being selected a shadow player while O'Donnell made 50 no in the game against Gold Coast.
