Beaudesert has lost to Jimboomba in the first match of the Logan District Cricket Association season.
The hosts never recovered from being 1-0 after winning the toss and batting first at Selwyn Park.
They were rolled for 162, with Jeffrey Teese's 48 the highlight of the innings.
His knock came to an end when brother Rodney, who was keeping for Jimboomba, stumped him.
Andrew Hardy chipped in with 29 runs.
Campbell Stewart was the best with the ball for Beaudesert, taking 3-21 from seven overs.
Teese got a wicket, but it was not enough to stop Jimboomba, who smashed the bowling to all corners of the field.
They won by six wickets.
Beaudesert took a juniors heavy team to Dauth Park to play Beenleigh, with four youngsters joining the side.
They batted well to get to 9-91, with Ben Holley making 24 before being caught.
Beenleigh passed Beaudesert's total in the 24th over, with Harry O'Reilly taking the only wicket.
Beaudesert Level 2 C played Jimboomba at Pioneer Park. After losing the toss, Beaudesert was sent into bat, reaching a total of 1-91 off 20 overs.
Top scorers were Patrick Overell with 14, Thomas Nairn with 7, and Jack O'Neill, playing his first ever game of cricket, also with 7.
Beaudesert then bowled Jimboomba out for 62 from 19.5 overs. Top bowlers were Nick Stephens, with 2=1 from 2.5 overs.
Overell bagged 2-4 from two overs, and Matthew Harris finished with 1-4.
Wiliam Watson-Siely took a wicket, catch and completed a great run out in his first ever game of cricket.
The level one gold team lost to Springwood at Larrescy 2 Oval.
Springwood's 4-87 was enough to surpass Beaudesert's 3-57.
Lachlan Gee, Deanna Steinhardt and Patrick O'Leary took a wicket each for Beaudesert.
Beaudesert product Jamal Fogarty says he is excited to join the Canberra Raiders next NRL season.
Fogarty will partner Jack Wighton in the halves. He has signed a three-year deal to play in the nation's capital.
"I'm super excited about coming down and meeting the squad," Fogarty said.
"The Raiders have a great roster and coach in Ricky [Stuart] and they've had some success over the past few seasons."
