EMERGENCY services responded to reports of a single vehicle traffic crash on Telemon Street this afternoon.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the vehicle, a white Toyota RAV 4, crashed into the concrete side of a bridge near Jubilee Park at 3.28pm.
Police are still looking for the male driver of the vehicle, who did not stay at the accident scene.
Tow trucks were called to remove the traffic hazard and the road was quickly cleared.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics had also been called but were stood down before arriving.
Firefighters were also in attendance but a QFES spokesman said there had been no entrapments.
Earlier, police and paramedics were called to Tamborine Mountain after reports of a motorcycle colliding with a car.
The accident happened at 2.21pm at the intersection of Eagle Heights Road and Geissmann Avenue.
Paramedics assessed one person at the scene for a knee injury but the patient declined transport to hospital.
