THE Zonta Club of Beaudesert is again hosting high tea and a fashion parade to help support women and girls both locally and overseas.

The event is on Saturday, September 18 in the magnificent garden at 36 Brolga Road Beaudesert and runs from 2pm to 5pm.

Zonta spokeswoman Ellen Logan said a limited number of tickets were still available for those who wanted to join the fun of a local fashion parade over a cuppa and some fancy home made treats.

"This is an important date on the Zonta calendar and our major fundraiser for the year," she said.

"It's also an opportunity for local ladies to come together for a fun day out. We look forward to it every year."

Last year's event was a big success, with the club raising more than $4000 to support programs including Share the Dignity, Meals on Wheels, YourTown, Beaucare, Beaudesert Hospital and supporting girls from Beaudesert State High School to take part in the Kokoda Challenge.

Ms Logan said fashions would be provided by Kalico Country on Brisbane Street and modeled by local women.

There will also be lucky door prizes and raffles on the day.

Tickets available from stickytickets.com.au/K0EMI at a cost of $30, which includes a glass of bubblyor punch on arrival.
