THE Beaudesert State High School's car park upgrade scheduled to take place over the July school holidays has been postponed.
A TMR spokesperson said the design for the upgrade was still being finalised.
"It is now scheduled for September school holidays when the car park isn't in use," the spokesperson said.

Scenic Rim MP Jon Krause said the delay would be a disappointment for parents and teachers expecting to start next term with better parking facilities and less traffic congestion.

"I raised this issue in 2015, and it's really not that difficult a job," he said.
"It just goes to show how a $6 billion backlog on road repairs can do do cause just little things like this to be continually put on the back burner.
"We've waited six years for this, some would say longer. I hope it gets done in coming months so we can finally address the issue of traffic congestion around Beaudesert State High School.".
Transport and Main Roads Minister Mark Bailey said the $486,000 School Transport Infrastructure Program project would make it easier for drivers to access the school from the Mount Lindesay Highway.
"This is a win for parents, students and staff driving to and from school," Mr Bailey said.
"Widening the car park exit to two lanes with dedicated left and right-turns will cut wait times for drivers leaving, particularly in the afternoon once the school bell rings.
"New pedestrian fences will be installed around the car park to improve safety for people on foot, and new permanent car parks will be created as part of the project."
Mr Bailey said some work would continue outside of peak times once school returns, including at night and weekends.
"Road safety is as much about pedestrians as drivers and this upgrade will benefit everyone at Beaudesert State High School," Mr Bailey said.
Beaudesert State High School principal Grant Stephensen welcomed the upgrades.
"A safer school is a better school for all and I thank everyone involved for making these upgrades happen for our school community," Mr Stephensen said.
