SCENIC Rim Regional Council has invited families to sign up for a special school holiday activity next week.

A council spokeswoman said they would be hosting two free virtual reality events for local youngsters nine years and over.

"Book a spot and encourage friends to join the fun of this special school holiday event.

Council said each booking was for a half-hour session per child, which included two games.

Sessions will run from 9am to 1pm on Tuesday at the Boonah Cultural Centre, with tickets available for free here.
