EMERGENCY services responded to reports of a man injured in a car and motorcycle crash this afternoon.
A police spokeswoman said officers were called at 4.40pm to the accident on Mundoolun Connection Road and Wagonwheel Road.
The spokeswoman said the road was clear in both directions with traffic moving freely.
A spokeswoman for the Queensland Ambulance Service said paramedics assessed the motorcycle rider at the scene and took him to Gold Coast University Hospital with minor injuries.
Occupants of the car were reportedly unharmed.
This comes after an accident on the same road last week saw a woman in her 40s taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Several serious traffic crashes were reported on Mundoolun Connection Road over the past year, including one that claimed the life of a 21-year-old Tamborine man in July.
Beaudesert Beenleigh Road and Mundoolun Connection Road at Tamborine came in at number 10 on the RACQ's list of Queensland's worst intersections, with six bad crashes and 10 serious injuries between 2017 and 2019.
