Burglary charges, bad behaviour in the Fassifern

HARRISVILLE police have charged three people after a burglary in Truloff Road, Peak Crossing.

The trio from Blackstone have been charged with a total of 10 offences including burglary, fraud and receiving stolen property.

A police spokesman said a 43-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were scheduled to appear before Ipswich Magistrates Court this month and a 33-year-old man was remanded in custody to reappear in Ipswich Magistrates Court on March 17.

In more news from the Fassifern, Boonah Police reported two separate incidents of a male behaving in a disorderly manner at the Australian Hotel on High Street, Boonah.

One of the incidents took place at 11pm Friday night and the second took place about 1.15pm Saturday afternoon.

On Sunday police visited a Boonah address and spoke with a 48-year-old male who was consequently issued two public nuisance infringement notices and a liquor infringement notice. He was also issued a Banning Notice excluding him from the hotel for a period of 10 days.

At the Kalbar Hotel, police were called to another disturbance about 10pm Friday night.

Police said a 26-year-old Bundamba man was issued with fined for public nuisance inside a licenced venue, banned from the hotel for 10 days and also given a move on direction after continuing his behaviour outside the hotel.

He was fined $800 for his behaviour.
