A WATERFORD West teenager will face court today, charged with murder after a heart breaking accident in Brisbane's bayside last night in which a pregnant woman and her partner died.

The accident happened at the corner of Finucane Road and Vienna Road about 5.30pm at Alexandra Hills in the Redlands.

The two who died are understood to have been pedestrians.

The teen, 17, is charged with two counts of murder, one count of dangerous operation of a vehicle (adversely affected by an intoxicating substance), two counts of burglary and one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and attempted unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

He is due in Brisbane Children's Court.

Six hurt in smash

SIX people were last night in hospital after a serious accident on Chambers Flat Road.

Critical care and high acuity response paramedics were called to the two-vehicle crash about 7.25pm.

They took six patients to hospital.

One man went to Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious leg and abdominal injuries.

The remaining five were in stable conditions. Two were taken to Mater Adults Hospital and three to Logan Hospital.
