AUSTRALIAN comedian Col Elliott played to a full house at the Beaudesert RSL Services Club on Friday night.
Seats were limited because of Covid-19 regulations but the 65 people allowed into the conference room were treated to a trip down memory lane with characters many would have remembered from Elliott's live shows, DVDs and television appearances since the 70s.
The comedian had the Beaudesert audience in fits of laughter with his stories about his early years growing up in a rural town and his adolescence in a different era when political correctness was not taken so seriously.
During costume changes for the one-man show, fans watched clips of Elliotts most popular comedy sketches on screen.
As a member of the Scenic Rim Veterans Group, Elliott also spoke about his time in the navy and performed a song to honour those who made sacrifices in the service of their country.
