
FIREFIGHTERS responded to a car on fire at Kerry in the early hours of this morning.
A spokeswoman for Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said firefighters arrived at the property on Junction Road to find a ute well engulfed by flames with spot fires burning up to adjacent stables.

The spokeswoman said a second vehicle, which was unable to be safely moved was also on fire.
Crew brought the fire under control and at 3.37am left the incident in the hands of the owner.
Police were also called.
A spokeswoman for the Queensland Police Service said the fire was not suspicious and the incident would not be subject to investigation.
This came just hours before fire and police crews were called to a second incident at Beaudesert, where multiple homes were evacuated and police issued an emergency declaration affecting Birnam Street, James Street, Gordon Street and Beauview Crescent.
