A man has died after a car crash at Boyland this morning.
Police, paramedics and firefighters rushed to the scene of the accident but a police spokesman said the sole occupant of the car, a 21-year-old man from Tamborine, passed away at the crash site on Mundoolun Connection Road.
Traffic delays are still expected with one lane of the road still closed.
This comes after four young people lost their lives in a car accident on Nerang Murwillumbah Road at Advancetown on the weekend.
A 22-year-old woman from Upper Mount Gravatt, a 20-year-old woman from Emerald, a 20-year-old man from Deeragun and a 21-year-old woman from Mount Louisa were declared deceased after the crash.
EMERGENCY services have responded to a serious traffic crash on Mundoolun Connection Road at Boyland.
The incident took place just after 11am.
A spokeswoman for Queensland Ambulance Service said paramedics had treated one person at the crash site for critical injuries but no one had been taken to hospital.
The Queensland Police Service said one lane of the road was closed, with council undertaking traffic control.
A spokesman said the crash involved a white sedan that rolled multiple times and had collided with a tree.
He said there was one person in the vehicle.
A spokeswoman for Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said two crews of firefighters arrived about 11.25am and were still at the crash site.
