McAuley College is proud to be part of the 307 strong Catholic schools in Queensland who this week celebrate Catholic Education Week.

The Beaudesert Catholic secondary college opened in 2017 and while relatively new, joins a long history of schools who celebrate 175 years of Catholic Education in Queensland.

While staff acknowledge that their approach to learning and teaching and the access to technology and facilities has improved over this time, there is no doubt that the mission remains the same.

To challenge young people in McAuley's care to live out the message of Jesus and to reach their full potential as compassionate, life-giving members of society is still very much at the heart of all they do and say.

Parents look for quality education and McAuley College has the advantage of having the latest in classroom design, technology and learning tailored to the needs of the young people of the Scenic Rim.

The college's size ensures that each student is known well and with its new resources and quality teachers drawn from across Australia, it provides educational pathways to best prepare students for life after school.

Together, with St Mary's Catholic Primary School, the two exceptional schools offer a seamless transition for the families of Beaudesert who value a quality education where their child is challenged, accepted and respected from Prep through to Year 12.
