Scenic Rim council suspends library, pool, exercise classes, concerts and free trees

A spokeswoman for Scenic Rim Regional Council said customer service centres remain open for essential services only.

"We strongly encourage the community to call council with any enquiries from Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 4.30pm on 5540 5111 or email us at mail@scenicrim.qld.gov.au," she said.

"Forms are also available on council's website and can be emailed in to us."

Scenic Rim Regional Council libraries (including outreach services) temporarily closed their doors from 5.30pm Wednesday, until further notice.

The council spokeswoman encouraged library members to access eResources, with all existing hard copy loans extended until June 30.

"Any library cards, which have expired, or are due to expire will automatically be renewed so you can continue accessing our eResources online," she said.

Scenic Rim Regional Council's Be Healthy & Active program has been temporarily suspended until further notice.

Scenic Rim Regional Council's Cultural Centres will closeuntil further notice after voting ends on Saturday following the current bookings from the Electoral Commission of Queensland.

Community swimming pools have temporarilyclosed until further notice.

Beaudesert nursery is temporarily closed to the public for redeeming free trees.
