LOVERS of the rat pack era can look forward to a musical magic when the Swingin' Martinis appear at the Boonah Cultural Centre this month.

A spokesperson for Scenic Rim Council said the event would feature a double measure of comedy, a dash of musical mayhem and a splash of old fashioned slapstick

The duo comprised of Johnny Reid and Vinny Nowell have worked together in various guises for more than twenty years.

"Now, as The Swingin' Martinis, they make for a mellow mix in the finest tradition of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis," the spokeswoman said.

"Dressed in tuxedos, the debonair duo have a stage presence certain to captivate their audience at Boonah Cultural Centre on Friday, February 21.

"The kings of cool will swing their way through a songbook of classic tunes that will not only have the audience singing and dancing but also participating in their infectious comedy routines.

The Swingin' Martinis provide the perfect curtain-raiser for Scenic Rim Regional Council's 2020 morning concert series."

Bookings are open but seats are limited at $16 for single tickets and $12.50 each for groups of 10 or more.

Book online through liveatthecentre.com.au, phone 5540 4040 or visit the box office at Boonah Cultural Centre or The Centre Beaudesert.
