BEAUDESERT RSL Club was a hive of activity on Friday for the University of the Third Age Christmas party.
The event also marked an important milestone as U3A membership topped 300, with 308 people having signed up for the wide range of activities and classes on offer this year.
There was an air of festivity as A-Choired Taste entertained the audience with the Australian version of Twelve Days of Christmas and all the old favourite carols.
The event featured a Christmas dinner, live music from Ken Jurd and Wayne McNeven, as well as demonstrations from the line dancing group.
U3A spokeswoman Lisa Leatherbarrow said the good turnout reflected the commitment of the members.
"All the committee members are great," she said.
"They love what they do. Everyone shows up to the meetings."
