Harrisville and Kalbar police are investigating two single vehicle crashes

Harrisville Police are investigating a single vehicle traffic crash on Roberts Road, Obum Obum last month.

The accident happened at 1.45pm on Tuesday, November 3.

A spokesman for Harrisville Police said the crash was still being investigated and public assistance was invited.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is urged to contact senior constable Nick Snell at Harrisville police station.

Kalbar Police are also investigating a single vehicle traffic crash.

The accident occurred at 8:30am on Sunday, December 8 on Warrill View-Peak Crossing Road at Peak Crossing, where investigations suggest the rider lost control of his motorcycle.

He was taken by Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics to Ipswich Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile a 39-year-old Cannon Hill man is facing a mandatory six month disqualification of his licence after he was stopped by officers from the State Traffic Branch speeding on Ipswich Boonah Road, Peak Crossing at 7.40am on last Thursday.

He was clocked travelling at 143Kph in 100kph zone on his motorcycle. He has been fined $1,245.00.

A 36-year-old Flinders View man also faces losing his licence for six months after Boonah Police pulled him over on Beaudesert Boonah Road, Wyaralong.

The driver was clocked travelling at 152Kph in 100kph zone in a Ford Falcon XR6 on Sunday at 6.40pm. He has been fined $1,245.00.
