Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crews remain on scene at a bushfire burning in the Main Range National Park.
QFES said firefighters would continue to monitor and patrol the area over the coming days.
The fire is currently affecting the communities of Tregony, North Branch, Swanfels, Freestone Valley and surrounds.
There is no threat to property at this time but smoke may affect Tregony and surrounding areas.
If affected, residents should close windows and doors.
Those suffering from a respiratory condition are advised to keep their medications close by.
Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions.
If residents are concerned their property is under threat they are advised to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast a 30 per cent chance of showers in the next few days increasing to 40 per cent on Sunday.
