TOMMERUPS dairy farm is planning a springtime market day at their Kerry property on October 20.
Kay Tommerup said the markets would feature produce from a variety of local farms.
"There is still space available for any local producers who want to join us but we already have Valley Pride produce, Kooroomba and Lime Caviar on board," she said.
"Farmers don't want something for nothing, this is a way of helping each other earn a bit of cash so we can trade through the tough times."
Ms Tommerup said the farm's veal and lamb would be for sale on the day.
"We will also have our cultured butter for sale, as well as our nut brown butter with macadamia ice cream, which is a little pot of awesome deliciousness," she said.
"Two Mates BBQ will be cooking local meats and we will also have a local coffee van.
"We're inviting all local producers who may have a product like honey, jams or whatever to join us on market day.
"We want to encourage visitors from outside the region to come and support our local producers and community by buying directly from them and from the shops in town on the way through."
Ms Tommerup said entry to the markets would be free but a charge would apply to access the animal areas.
She said visitors to the farm would need to wear enclosed shoes for safety purposes.
