Woman pulled over by police at Clumber to be charged with giving a false name

BOONAH police report a 44-year-old Warwick woman will face Ipswich Magistrates Court after she was stopped by officers from the Ipswich Road Policing Unit at 10.45am on October 2 .

The woman was stopped on the Cunningham Highway, Clumber and returned a positive result to driving with a relevant drug in her system.

She is due to appear in court later this month.

The woman has also been charged for providing a false name to police and unlicensed driving.

A 72-year-old Aratula man has been charged with unlicenced driving after being stopped by officers from the Ipswich Road Policing Unit at 9.50am on October 2.

The man was travelling on the Cunningham Highway, Clumber when checks revealed his licence was suspended due to accumulation of demerit points.

He is due to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court on October 11.

A 25-year-old man from Manly West will face Ipswich Magistrates Court after he was stopped by officers from the Ipswich Road Policing Unit at 7.25pm last Wednesday on the Cunningham Highway, Mutdapilly.

He returned a positive result to driving with a relevant drug in his system and is due to appear in court later in the month.

A 43-year-old Graceville man was issued with traffic infringements notices for driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle after he was stopped by officers from the Ipswich Road Policing Unit on the Cunningham Highway, Aratula at 11.40am on October 2.

The man was fined a total of $853.00 for the offences.

A 27-year-old Ripley man was also fined $853.00 for driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle after he was stopped by police on the Cunningham Highway, Mount Edwards at 1pm on October 2.

A 32-year-old Nerang woman was stopped by officers from the Ipswich Road Policing Unit on Boonah Fassifern Road, Fassifern at 7.45pm on October 4.

She was fined a total of $853.00 for the offences.
