Despite a few clouds, the Weather Bureau expects a top temperature of about 24 degrees today for Beaudesert and Jimboomba, with Canungra a couple of degrees cooler.

It will be mostly sunny, with smoke haze.

The chance of any rain is an abysmal zero.

Winds are forecast to be southerly 15 to 25 km/h, tending southeasterly 20 to 30 km/h in the morning then becoming light in the late evening.

The fire danger remains high.

Temperatures will gradually begin to rise over coming days, with Beaudesert and Jimboomba to make it back up to 32 degrees by Tuesday.
