Boonah police lay drugs charges after searching three properties

POLICE have charged a 63-year-old Boonah man with drug offences after a search warrant on a Church Street, Boonah address on August 8.

He has been charged with possess dangerous drugs and utensils.

The man will face Ipswich Magistrates Court on August 29.

Meanwhile a police spokesman said a 20-year-old Kalbar man had been offered a drug diversion program after police executed a search warrant in Valley View Drive, Kalbar on Thursday, August 8.

The spokesman said police located a drug utensil at the property which belonged to the male.

He also said investigations were continuing after police executed a search warrant at an address on Ipswich Boonah Road, Milbong at 9.30am on Thursday, August 8.

During the search police found glassware which was believed to have been used in the production of drugs.

Police also located ammunition and other items of interest.
