Scenic Rim kids hone their circus skills at The Centre Beaudesert

SCENIC Rim children took advantage of the $12 circus workshops held at The Centre Beaudesert yesterday.

The circus school was part of the Scenic Rim regional Council school holiday program presented by Flipside Circus, Queensland's largest youth circus company.

The morning "Flipperoos" program was for kids aged four to seven and involved circus play and learning skills like tumbling, juggling, human pyramids and magic tricks.

Their instructors were Phoebe Waltham and Amelia Smith, who put the children through their paces for a couple of hours of circus fun.

Flipside Circus said it had received 17 feedback forms from parents of children who did the Beaudesert workshop, with the general consensus being that the program and the instructors had been amazing.
