Police charge several Fassifern residents as part of Operation Redeem

POLICE from the Fassifern together with officers from the Ipswich Tactical Crime Squad executed a series of search warrants at addresses in the Fassifern area on July 3 in relation to drug and property offences.

A 28-year-old Boonah man was issued a notice to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court after police allegedly found drugs and utensils at his address.

He is facing five charges and will appear before the court on August 7.

A 25-year-old Boonah woman was issued a notice to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court in relation to eight fraud offences, one stealing offence and drug possession after police attended her address.

She is due to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court on July 31.

A 34-year-old Kalbar woman was issued a notice to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court later this month for drug possession after a warrant was served on July 4.

A 35-year-old Kalbar man was charged with possessing dangerous drugs, failing to dispose of a syringe and unlawful possession of ammunition after a warrant was executed.

He is due to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court on July 26.

A 39-year-old Limestone Ridges man was charged with unlawful possession of firearms after police conducted a search of an address on July 3.

Police will allege in court that the firearms were found unsecured at the property and the man did not have a licence to have the firearms.

He is due to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court this month.
