TOWRI Sheep Cheeses hosted another sellout Eat Local event on Saturday.
One of the most popular events on the Eat Local calendar, Towri Sheep Cheeses farm owner Carolyn Davidson said Jamming with the Lambs saw 83 people dining under cover this year, due to the inclement weather earlier in the day.
"We went with a vintage theme, so there were old oil lamps and silver cutlery," she said.
Adding to the ambience was the Towri fire totem made by a staff member from a tree trunk which burned throughout the night.
"Every year Kevin Williamson makes the Towri sign for us and he does a fantastic job," she said
"This year it was taller with more chimneys."
Guests were treated to a fine meal prepared by Scenic Rim regional food ambassador Cameron Matthews from local produce including a charcuterie platter and slow cooked main course featuring Towri hoggett served with local winter vegetables.
Dessert was Towri sheep milk baked race with local rhubarb.
Ms Davidson said the food was paired with local wines.
"We had bubbles and port from O'Reilly's as well as Witches Falls Syrah and Verdhelo," she said.
"Of course we topped it off with a platter of Towri sheep cheeses."
Ms Davidson said the next event at Towri Sheep Cheeses farm would be high tea on the last Saturday of July.
"Tickets will be available from Eventbrite or locals can contact us on email@example.com to find out more or make a booking," she said.
"We often have city people buying the tickets when they go online but we would also love to see more locals come along."
