Calf injured on the Mount Lindesay Highway

Police responded to an incident on the Mount Lindesay Highway, Gleneagle at 9.30am on Monday when an animal's leg was seen protruding from a livestock transport vehicle.

A spokesman for Beaudesert police said the calf's hoof was touching the road and was dragged a considerable distance before the driver was alerted.

The calf sustained minor injuries and the spokesman said police were investigating the incident.
