Thieves break into Chesterfields Beaudesert to steal a John Deere tractor

BEAUDESERT Police are reviewing CCTV footage after a break-in at Chesterfields on Thiedke Road some time between Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.

A police spokeswoman said it appeared the offenders cut through a fence, broke into a couple of crates and stole a John Deere tractor.

Police urge anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area at the weekend to contact Beaudesert Police or Crime Stoppers.

Another incident of stealing took place on between June 17 and 18 after light bulbs and a light shade was taken from a house in Duckett Street Beaudesert.

Police are reviewing CCTV footage after a Scenic Rim regional Council shed was broken into between June 18 and 19. About 15 litres of fuel was stolen.

Beaudesert and District Little Athletics Club was also broken into last week. A police spokeswoman said the club was broken into sometime between June 20 and 22, with offenders causing a fair bit of damage.

A pizza oven and a tool kit was stolen. Police are reviewing CCTV footage.

Four teenagers were caught on camera and spoken to by police after a stealing incident at the Spar store on Telemon Street Beaudesert at 11.30am on Saturday.
