A 34-year-old man of no fixed address has been arrested and charged after police were notified by a member of the public about a vehicle driving erratically on the Cunningham Highway before turning onto Ipswich Boonah Road, Purga.
The incident occurred about 11.30pm on Friday.
Police spotted the vehicle travelling in the direction of Peak Crossing and attempted to intercept the driver who failed to stop.
The vehicle turned into a dead end street and crashed into a fence.
The driver was taken to Ipswich Watch House where he was charged with offences including contravening a domestic violence order, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, high range drink driving, evade police and obstructing police.
He was remanded in custody to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court.
Meanwhile Beaudesert police tried to stop a black Mazda 3 sedan on Boundary Street Beaudesert at 5.40pm Friday before the driver took off at high speed.
A police spokesman said a 25-year-old Beaudesert woman was arrested the next day and her vehicle was seized.
She will face court in two weeks on charges of unlicensed driving and evade police.
