Woman injured after crashing into guardrail on the Mount Lindesay Highway

EMERGENCY services have responded to reports of a single vehicle car crash at Munruben this morning.

A spokesman for Queensland Fire and Rescue Services said a fire crew was on hand to assist and perform clean up but there were no entrapments reported.

The accident happened just before 8am on the Mount Lindesay Highway near Crowson Lane.

A spokeswoman for Queensland Ambulance Service said paramedics were assessing a female in her 20s and were taking her to hospital in a stable condition with no serious injuries.

A police spokeswoman said it appeared the vehicle, a blue 4WD had hit a barrier and veered off the road near Ollie's Fruit Market.

She said QFES was removing debris from the road but traffic was not affected by the accident.
