Police appeal for information about thefts in Harrisville and Peak Crossing

Harrisville Police are investigating the theft of a cashbox from outside an Ipswich Boonah Road, Limestone Ridges address between 1pm on May 8 and 11am on May 9

A police spokesman said the cashbox was at the front of the property where the owner was selling firewood with an honesty box system.

Anyone who may have seen a vehicle or person acting suspiciously in the area around this time is urged to contact Sgt Michael Collett at Harrisville Station.

Investigations continue into the theft of tools from a work shed on Ipswich Boonah road, Peak Crossing between 6:30pm on Wednesday May 8 and 8am on Thursday May 9.

The shed is part of an earth moving business and was insecure at the time.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed a vehicle or person in the area to contact Harrisville Police.
