DESPITE the threat of rain over the Easter long weekend, hundreds turned up to Jubilee Park on Saturday to enjoy a day of music and family fun.
The show featured local musicians including Keith Dunn as well as performers from further afield including Ipswich singer songwriter Kim Wright whose last two singles made top ten on the iTunes charts, duo Chasing Velvet from the Gold Coast and music veteran Bagman.

Food vans, face painting and dancing in the park were all part of the day, with visitors happy to make a gold coin donation to the farmers' drought relief fund.
Event organiser Khan Sheenan said he had been worried about the turn out, given that weather forecasters had earlier predicted a 90 per cent chance of storms on the day.
"But we have had more than 500 people turn up, they are loving it and we will definitely be doing it again," he said.
