SCENIC Rim volunteers will be recognised during the 30th National Volunteer Week celebrations, which run from May 20 to 26.
Scenic Rim Regional Council will host bingo sessions with prizes and giveaways, as well as a free morning tea for all.
Mayor Greg Christensen said this was a chance for those who rarely want to be in the spotlight to be recognised for their hard work in local communities.
"With this year's National Volunteer Week theme being, making a world of difference, we can definitely agree that's what they do here in the Scenic Rim," he said.
"Volunteers are the lifeblood of our community and we thank them for their dedication and hard work which often goes unrecognised."
