BEAUDESERT Boxing Club held a fundraiser on Saturday to raise funds for the two junior boxers.

Dylan Biggs and Kalob Gray were selected to fight in Poland and the Czech Republic next month. Their coach Justin O'Leary said both fighters had bouts at the weekend and both dominated in the ring.

"I was very happy with the level of support at Saturday's fundraiser," he said. "There were about 60 people there, we had a sausage sizzle, a raffle and a 100s board but most of the money came from donations."

Mr O'Leary said the supporters managed to raise about $1200 on the day, taking them closer to their goal of raising the $2000 each fighter will need to get to their fights overseas.

"It's great that out of 10 boxers chosen from all over Queensland, two of them are from Beaudesert," he said.

The Boxing Club hopes to raise more funds in the coming weeks.
