SCENIC Rim residents will once again show their respect and gratitude on April 25, the 104th anniversary of Australian and New Zealand WWI troops landing on the beach at Gallipoli.

In Beaudesert, A-Choired Taste will be on hand to sing the national anthem and perform their rendition of In Flanders Field, John Fisher will recite the poem Fallen Comrades and Thomas Todd will be on duty as bugler.

Despite this year coming the day after school goes back, large numbers are expected to turn up for dawn services and parades across the region.
