Police are investigating after a camper trailer that had been stolen from Varsity Lakes on Saturday or Sunday was found burnt out on Munchows Road at Moogerah about 2.30pm on Sunday.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have observed a vehicle towing a camper trailer on Lake Moogerah Road or Croftby Road between these times to contact Boonah Police on 5463 3999.

Wanted woman arrested

A 26-year-old Boonah woman faces charges of failing to appear and driving on a suspended licence after police stopped her on High Street at Boonah at 8.30am on March 20.

Police said the woman was wanted on a warrant for failing to appear in court, so she was arrested and taken to the Ipswich Watchhouse.

She will front the Ipswich Magistrates Court on April 4.

Found property

Police are seeking the owner of a mobile phone which was found on Boonah Rathdowney Road at Dugandan on Sunday.

Anyone who lost a phone is asked to contact Boonah Police.

Proof of ownership will be required.
