EXTENSIVE DAMAGE: Seven Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crews battled a blaze which damaged a shed at Moogerah yesterday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to a shed fire at Mount Greville Road at Moogerah yesterday at 5.30pm.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said seven crews attended and found smoke issuing from the 30 metre by 10 metre shed which contained tools, machinery and motorbikes.

She said the firefighters accessed the building and worked to put out the fire, and by 6.20pm it had been extinguished.

She said crews then ensured the structure, which had been extensively damaged, was ventilated so that the residual smoke dispersed and the area was safe.

The fire investigation unit was contacted but were not required.

A police spokeswoman said the fire was not suspicious.

She said police suspected an electrical fault had started the fire and the investigation was finalised.
