Motorbike and truck involved in crash at Gleneagle

A motorbike rider was taken to hospital after a collision with a truck on Veresdale Scrub Road and the Mount Lindesay Highway at Gleneagle on Sunday.

Emergency services were called at 12.12pm.

The motorcyclist had suffered injuries to his right arm and left leg, as well as minor cuts and bleeding.

The driver of the truck was uninjured.

The rider’s Harley Davidson was totalled.

Police are investigating.

Riders injured in crash

A 19-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man were both taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition after the motorbike they were riding crashed about eight metres down an embankment.

Emergency services were called to Geissmann Drive at Tamborine Mountain about 8.20pm on Saturday.

Paramedics arrived and treated the man for leg and back injuries, and the woman for spinal pain.

No other vehicles were involved.

Police are investigating.
