JUBILEE Park was a children’s’ paradise on Thursday as some kids arrived early enough to have the play equipment all to themselves while their parents supervised the fun in the cool of the morning.
The play equipment was put to good use, there was plenty of shade for their parents and the children enjoyed loads of activity before the heat of the day set in.
Beaudesert library was another popular place to cool off before the start of classes next week, with school holiday activities offer.
The heat wave really made an impact this week, with no relief in sight for the remainder of the school holidays and temperatures forecast to top 35 degrees every day.
The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast the possibility of a thunderstorm tomorrow with temperatures to reach 36 degrees and dropping by very little in coming days.
