Whether splashing around in the wading pool or diving into the deep end, the Beaudesert pool proved popular on Monday as locals looked to stay cool in the 33 degree heat.
Scenic Rim Regional Council provides public swimming pool facilities at Beaudesert, Tamborine Mountain and Canungra.
The day-to-day operation of these pools is contracted to third party providers.
At Beaudesert, the pool is open on Mondays to Friday from 5.30am-9am (lap swimming only) and 9am-6pm.
On Saturday, the pool opens from 8.30am-5.30pm.
On Sundays and public holidays, it opens from 10am-5.30pm.
Admission costs $4 for adults and $3 for children aged 2-17 years.
Pensioners are $3 and spectators gain entry for $2.
There are also options for season passes starting from $150 for children and pensioners and $200 for adults.
