A seven-strong Beaudesert Cricket Club contingent pulled on the colours of Logan Black and took part in the 2019 Ian Healy Cup from January 7-11.

Hosted by Albany Creek Cricket club, the annual under-12 development carnival run by the Brisbane North Junior Cricket Association, is held to offer talented players high quality cricket outside of the Queensland Junior Cricket Championships.

Vying for the Ian Healy Cup Perpetual Trophy were 14 teams from around the state, including Logan, Brisbane North, Far North, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Eastern Districts, Ipswich and West Moreton, Met South West and Bayside East and Redlands (BEARS).

Logan Black finished fifth in Pool C, with Met South West Blue emerging the overall victor.

Though they did not win the Ian Healy Cup, the local brigade fought hard throughout the tournament, played in the spirit of cricket and delivered some outstanding individual performances.
