The Scenic Rim will welcome the state’s elite rowers from January 25-27 for the Queensland Championship Regatta.
Some of Queensland’s fittest athletes will hit the water at the Lake Wyaralong Rowing Centre and battle it out over distances of 1500-2000 metres.
Racing is expected to get underway at 2.30pm on Friday and 7am on Saturday and Sunday, with competition to finish as late as 6.30pm in the case of inclement weather.
Spectator entry is free and the venue is equipped with public toilet facilities and a myriad of walking and cycling tracks.
Competitor entries close at 11pm on January 16.
Catering is often available at Rowing Queensland events and visitors should bring cash to purchase any food or drinks.
