Beaudesert’s senior cricketers achieved mixed results in blistering conditions on Saturday.
In Division One, the Borobies suffered a loss to Loganholme at Tansey Park.
Loganholme had first use of the willow and were bowled out in the 30th over for 187 runs.
The Borobies were confident of reeling in the modest total but a batting collapse saw them dismissed for 146 in the 25th over.
On Saturday, they will face Jimboomba at Selwyn Park in a one-dayer.
The Division Two side continued its winning form with victory over Greenbank at Selwyn Park.
After winning the toss and electing to bat, the Borobies got away to a great start with opening batsmen James Braithwaite and boundary-hitting Matt Diggelmann laying the foundation with a 71 run opening stand.
Diggelmann was the first to fall for 40 and when Braithwaite followed the next over for 18 Beaudesert were 2/71 off 12 overs.
Middle order batsman Brock Sorrenson added a handy 29 before Jeffrey Teese and Andrew Steindl combined for a valuable 73-run partnership that pushed the score well beyond 200.
As he tried to score quick runs Teese was stumped for 51 and Steindl was caught out of his crease in almost identical fashion for 25 the next over.
Aided by the late flurry, Beaudesert had amassed a formidable total of 9/251 after 40 overs.
The Borobies bowling attack was again led by cunning leg spinner Lewis Steindl who took 3/27 off his eight overs.
Braithwaite also bowled well. He collected 2/30 while Andrew Steindl, Shannon Barlow, Trow Walters and Luke Cameron all pitched in with with a wicket.
In the end, Beaudesert proved too strong, dismissing Greenbank for 199 in the 36th over to secure a comprehensive triumph.
This Saturday, Borobies are tasked with taking on the top of the ladder Loganholme at Tansey Park.
