POLICE conducting a random drug testing blitz of the Beaudesert CBD on November 8 charged four people with drug driving.

The Random Drug Testing Unit targeted Telemon, Alderley, William and Albert streets at Beaudesert.

A police spokesperson said four Beaudesert men indicated a positive result for either methamphetamine or cannabis, including a 33-year-old, a 42-year-old, an 18-year-old and a 22-year-old.

Three of the men will answer the charge at Beaudesert Magistrates Court on January 15 and the other on January 29.

Speed zones

Boonah Police have received inquiries about the new speed zones entering town on Ipswich Boonah Road, Boonah Fassifern Road and Boonah Rathdowney Road.

The new signs and road markings are the official start of the 60km/h speed zone.
