Beaudesert Police investigate burglaries

Police are investigating after someone broke into a home on Albert Street on November 2 about 11pm.

Police said the person entered through the window of the main bedroom and took an unknown quantity of coins before fleeing through the entry point.

Boom box stolen

A radio box and speakers were stolen from a home on Durrand Street at Beaudesert sometime between October 18 and November 4. Police said the offenders entered and exited via the rear door.

Bold booze theft

Thieves knocked off a carton of bourbon and cola from the Beaudesert Hotel on Brisbane Street on November 2 at 11.44pm.

Police said the unknown offenders entered via the staff-only door and moved into the cold room, where they collected the carton of Jim Beam pre-mixed. They then exited via the main entrance.

Traffic

Police fined a 61-year-old Kooralbyn man for travelling 60km/h in the 40km/h zone on Bromelton Street at Beaudesert. 

They also fined a 64-year-old man from Warialda in New South Wales for travelling 52km/h in the 40/km/h zone on Bromelton Street.
