Nominations are out for this Saturday’s Derby Day meeting at Aquis Beaudesert, with local trainers set for a big day at the track.

Beauy trainers make up 27 of the 50 nominations, with Greg Cornish and Ben Robinson leading the charge.

Greg has six nominations across the five races, with Rocky Nugget and Art She Quick looming as potential chances in their respective Benchmark 55 races.

Rocky Nugget is earning himself a very impressive record at Aquis Beaudesert, starting six times at his home track and earning himself a record of two wins and three placings.

The five race card starts at 1pm with gates opening at 11am.

The first bus will depart from outside the showground at 10.45 and will run every 15-20 minutes.

General Admission tickets will be sold at the gate, with the Country Luncheon tickets available online only.

There are still tickets available into the Country Luncheon in the Pavilion, for $60 you receive; track entry and access to the Pavilion, a drink on arrival, Gourmet Country style buffet and a shared racebook.

The club will be running free shuttle buses between outside the showground, RSL, Jubilee Park and the racetrack. Entry is $10 for Adults and $5 from Pensioners/Kids.
