Queensland has dominated the Christian Football Federation Association National Titles with the Beaudesert Rangers’ contingent starring for their respective teams.
Club representative Kym Neuendorff said it had been a wonderful tournament for the Rangers’ cohort.
“It was a highly competitive National Titles,” she said. “A huge congratulations to Emily Moore for being chosen in the under-16 All Stars team.”
Joining Sam Kullrich (under 14) as national champions were Emily Moore and Shania Thomson (under-16 girls), Kane Neuendorff (under-16 boys), Joe Nilon (under-18) and Lewis Steindl (under-23).
Jess Barnes and Tahlia Thomson featured heavily for the senior women who performed admirably but did not make the final. Jim Platell was among Queensland’s best senior men but they also fell short of the final.
Emily Moore was chosen in the under-16 girls All Star team for her outstanding performances throughout the four-day competition.
Players faced teams from New Zealand, South Australia, Western Australia, New South Wales and Victoria with each involved in eight games over three days and finals on the fourth.
