EMERGENCY services responded to reports of a shed fire at Bromelton this afternoon.
A spokeswoman for Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said firefighters arrived at a Sandy Creek Road property to find a hay shed ablaze.
The call was received at 2.45 this afternoon and firefighters were able to bring the fire under control by 3.47pm.
She said the fire was attended by four auxilliary and two rural crews from across the Scenic Rim.
The firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading and keep it contained within the building.
Paramedics were also in attendance but a spokesman for Queensland Ambulance Service said there were no occupants in the hay shed and no patients required treatment.
“We were standing by to assist firefighters who were wearing breathing apparatus,” he said.
