EMERGENCY services were called to the scene of a traffic incident after reports of a car crash at Tamborine Mountain Road and Cedar Creek Falls Road just after midnight Sunday morning.
A spokesman for Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said firefighters received a call at 12.12am and arrived at the scene to find no driver or passengers in evidence but a car 20 metres down an embankment.
Queensland Police Service were also called at 2.10am and said a woman in her 30s was eventually transported to Gold Coast University Hospital.
Paramedics were in attendance from 2am and a spokesman said a woman had walked away from the accident and returned some hours later.
He said the woman was transported to hospital at 3.30am with minor injuries.
