EQUESTRIAN Queensland Hall of Famer Guy Creighton will once again visit Beaudesert to provide his time and considerable expertise to the Scenic Rim Equestrian Club training clinic at Beaudesert Showground.

Creighton is considered royalty in equestrian circles, being a two-time Olympian with four World Cup wins under his belt.

SREC president Lear White said the clinic will be at the Beaudesert Showgrounds on Sunday, August 19 from 8am.

“The clinic works so that we have 20 riders with four in each height class for a 90 minute lesson with Guy,” she said.

“The 50-60 cm height class is already full but we have only filled 10 of the 20 total spots available.

“There are two spots left in the spots left in 70-80 cm class, four in the 80-90cm, two in the 90cm to one metre class and one spot available in the 1.10m class.”

Ms White said the training day held in April was highly successful with Creighton showing members of the club how to achieve equestrian excellence.

Costs are $70 for all riders and $60.00 for Equestrian Australia members .
